Privacy

This policy summarizes the personal data Cadence expects to collect and how the service uses third-party providers.

Last updated: May 25, 2026

Data we collect

Cadence collects account profile details, authentication records, support messages, card display metadata, activation records, billing records, audit logs, IP addresses, device details and operational logs needed to provide and protect the service.

Payment data

Stripe handles card collection and payment processing. Cadence stores Stripe object IDs and limited card display metadata, such as brand, last four digits and expiration date. Cadence does not store raw card numbers or CVC values.

Providers

Cadence uses Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Buttondown for optional marketing newsletter email, Sentry for error monitoring, PostHog for constrained analytics, Vercel for hosting and Cloudflare for DNS and domain protection.

Analytics and monitoring

Cadence uses narrow analytics and error monitoring to understand product health. Cadence should not send card data, payment fields, support message text, secrets or free-form sensitive user input to analytics tools.

Retention and deletion

Cadence keeps account, billing, audit and support records as needed for service operation, dispute evidence, fraud prevention, legal obligations and security. Some records may remain after account closure where required for legitimate business, legal or security reasons.
